Lois Smith works for MI6, and Charles Hall works for the CIA. Fate brings these two agents together when the Paris café they are sitting at is suddenly attacked by middle eastern terrorists. The agents successfully defeat them and, for their efforts, are chastised by their respective agencies for interfering in French internal affairs. Now united in a common cause, they continue to uncover additional plots, frustrating the man behind a secret and totally unknown sect of anarchists who want to convert the world to socialism using the jihadists as cannon fodder. The agents find allies in the French gendarmerie and work together to end the reign of terror by the fanatics.
